Add Domains from Domain Reports to a Domain List

Selected view > Reports tab > Sending Domains or Receiving Domains report > Details > selected Domains > Document drop-down menu> Add to Domain List

Requires Project - Domain Lists - Add/Edit permissions to add to a Domain List

From the Reports tab for a view such as a Data Set or a Project Data-based view, you might want to view the Details for the Sending Domains report or the Receiving Domains report and select domains that you want to add to a new or existing Domain List.

If you have the appropriate permissions, you can either create a new Domain List or add to an existing one:

  • New Domain List... – Enables you to create a Domain List with the domains you selected from the Report Details of the Sending Domains or Receiving Domains report. The new Domain List will be automatically selected in the list.
  • Domain List Name – From the list of available Domain Lists, select the name of the Domain List to which you want to add the domains selected from the Report Details of the Sending Domains or Receiving Domains report. If you decide to view multiple Domain Lists before you are ready to save the changes, note that the pending domain additions will appear in whichever Domain List you select.
  • DescriptionClosed Provides a helpful description of an item. A description can have up to 255 characters.(optional) — A description of the selected Domain List, if a description has been configured.

When you select a Domain List, the right side of the screen displays the domains in the list with your pending additions:

  • Domains –Displays the current list of domains for the selected Domain List with your pending additions at the top.
  • Save – Adds your selected domains from the Report Details to the currently selected Domain List. Note that if any of the selected domains are already present in the Domain List, they will not be saved to the list again. You can verify the contents of a Domain List from the Project Settings > Domain Lists.
  • Cancel – Enables you to cancel the addition of the selected domains from the Report Details to the selected Domain List.
