Organization Settings > Connectors > selected Connector > Edit

Connectors provide Digital Reef with access to content repositories so that data can be imported from them or exported to them. If you have the required permissions, you can create a ConnectorClosed An entity that provides access to content repositories of a specific type (for example, NFS or MS Exchange.) A Connector identifies a server and operates in either read-only mode for data import only or read/write for import and export. of a type suitable for a particular type of repository. The Connector is associated with one or more Project Data Areas (locations) to use for data import or export, depending on the intended use and the mode (Read Only or Read/Write) of the Connector.

Always see the Digital Reef Release Notes for the latest information about Connector support.

You can currently configure Connectors of the following types:

NFS and CIFS connectors are configured as a server mount point with one or more directories beneath it as data areas, in either Read/Write or Read Only mode. Microsoft SharePoint and Exchange Connectors are configured as the URL of a server of the appropriate type, always in Read Only mode (the default).

When you create a Connector you supply a descriptive name of up to 255 characters that is unique across your Digital Reef site and an optional description, then choose the Connector type. From there the options are specific to the type.

Edit Connector Options

To view and edit an existing Connector's settings, select the Connector and right-click or open the context menu at the far right to select the Edit option. Settings you cannot change include name, description, type, and mode, whether an NFS Connector supports PanFS mode, and whether an MS Exchange or MS SharePoint Connector is Local or Office 365.

If you change the mount point or server URL for a Connector, the system must be restarted before the change can take effect, so notify your System Administrator as soon a possible.
