Edit Project

Users with the required permissions can edit the name or description of an existing Project , modify the review system projects associated with a review -integrated Project, and convert a Reef ECA only Project to a review-integrated Project using the following settings:

• Name The unique name of an item. For many items, the name can have up to 100 characters. Some items, such as a Connector name, can have up to 255 characters. An Excluded Content Block name is limited to 32 characters. (required) —The Project name must be unique within the Organization and can include alphanumeric characters, spaces, and some supported characters (such as a hyphen, underscore, and apostrophe), as well as characters from some foreign languages (for example, Korean characters). However, the following characters cannot be included: ! " # $ % & * + . / : ; < = > ? @ [ \ ] ^ { | } ~ “ ”

• Description Provides a helpful description of an item. A description can have up to 255 characters. — Provides useful information about the Project.
• Review System— Indicates whether the Project is Reef ECA only or integrated with a review system. When Reef ECA Only is selected, you can select a review system (for example Reef Review) instead to integrate the Project with that system, but this is the only change you can make using this control; you cannot change the review system a Project is integrated with or convert it from review-integrated to Reef ECA only.
• Review Project — If the Project is review-integrated, displays the review project(s) it is associated with. To add one or more, click the green plus () to display the Select Review Projects dialog, which lists the projects you have access to on the review system, and select from among them. You can associate multiple review projects all at once, or one by one; each time you click OK on the Select Review Projects dialog, the review projects you added are displayed on the Edit Project dialog. When you convert a Reef ECA only Project to review-integrated, you must click the green plus () and select at least one review system project to associate it with before you can save your changes. When you select a review project that is already associated with another review-integrated Project (which is valid but may not be desired in some cases), a pop-up alerts you to this. (You cannot remove associated review projects from a Project, but this capability will be enabled in a future release.)

  Note: To associate one or more new review projects with the Project you are converting, you can create the new projects on the review system first, then associate them as existing projects in the Edit Project dialog, as described above.
