Export Data Area Information and Actions

When the Reef Review Connector is configured, one or more Reef Review Export Data Areas, automatically generated for Projects that are integrated with Reef Review, may be listed on this page; differences from standard Export Data Areas are noted where applicable. For more information about Reef Review integration, see Reef Review Integration.

  • Connector Name – Displays the name of the Connector associated with the Export Data Area, which is always reefreview for Reef Review data areas. This setting cannot be changed.
  • Type – Displays the type of Connector that is associated with the Export Data Area. The Connector type must be able to support export operations (currently, NFS or CIFS). For Reef Review data areas, this is always ReefReview. This setting cannot be changed.
  • Mode – Lets you see the mode of the Connector associated with the Export Data Area, either Read / Write or Read-Only. The Reef Review Connector is always Read / Write. This setting cannot be changed.
  • Server – Displays the IP address or hostname of the associated Connector. This setting cannot be changed.
  • Connector Path – Displays the current path associated with the Export Data Area and its Connector. This information varies per Connector and can be changed, except for Reef Review data areas, which always have the path configured for the Reef Review Connector.
  • Data Area Path — The Folder location for the Export Data Area. This setting cannot be changed.

If you have the appropriate permissions, you can right-click an Export Data Area and select one of the following actions, or click the context menu icon () at the far right to view a menu of available options:

  • Validate — Validates the Export Data Area information to ensure that it is accessible.
  • Edit – Launches the Edit Export Data Area dialog, which enables you to edit the data area's name, description, and Connector Path. (The latter cannot be edited for Reef Review data areas.)
  • Delete – Enables you to delete an Export Data Area as long as it is not currently performing an operation. (Reef Review data areas cannot be deleted.)
