Generate a Cluster Report
Project Data-based view > Clusters tab> Generate Report
Requires Document Report Permissions
While working with Clusters, you can request generation of a Cluster Report that contains the top-level Cluster information and, if you opt to include Subclusters, the Subcluster information based on a number of levels (by default, 2). When you generate the report, the finished reported can be downloaded from the Work Basket (using the Work Basket Download option for the associated task). The Cluster Report is in XLSX format and is named as follows:
DR_clusteringreport-<timestamp>-<projectname>.xlsx
The XLSX enables you to view the top-level Clusters and all generated Subclusters, where you can open and close different levels. If you elected to include Subcluster levels when you generated the report, the number of Subcluster levels in the XLSX is determined by the levels selected when you generated the report (by default, 2). When viewing the XLSX report, you can click the plus sign (+) to the far left to expand a given top-level Cluster and explore its Subclusters. Indentation helps you identify each Subcluster within a top-level Cluster and each additional Subcluster level within a Subcluster.
Cluster Report Actions
When you generate a Cluster Report, you will see a dialog with the following information:
-
Include Top-Level Clusters – This checkbox is shown selected and grayed out to indicate that top-level Clusters are always included in the report.
-
Include Subcluster Levels – Provides the option to have the report include Subcluster levels. If you do not select this checkbox, the report will not contain Subcluster information. If you want to include Subcluster levels, select the checkbox and either use the default of 2 for 2 levels, or specify a value in the range 1-10.
Generate or Cancel the Cluster Report
When you have decided on your Subcluster levels, you can either generate the Cluster Report or cancel the operation, as follows:
- Generate Cluster Report – Proceeds to generate the Cluster Report in XLSX format. An information popup informs you that generation of the report has started, and that once finished, you can download the report from the Work Basket.
- Cancel – Cancels generation of the Report.
