Requires Project - Project Members - View, Add/Edit Permissions
Users in a role with the appropriate permissions can add, remove, and change the roles of Project members, which can include Organization Users, System Users, Groups, and System Groups. Project members can also be selected by an Organization Administrator during Project creation. Users without Project Add/Edit permissions can display the Project Members list.
Project Members List
The set of columns included in the Project Member list depends on whether Digital Reef is configured for TransPerfect Authentication (TP Auth) or Standard Authentication; for information about these authentication methods and the columns available for each, see Add or Edit an Organization User. All columns,with the exception of Role, can be filtered using either a drop-down or a text box; when one or more columns are filtered, the Add/Remove Members button is disabled. You can drag columns to the left or right to reorder them, and right-click any column title to reset all filters or choose which columns to display.
Regardless of authentication method, the first column in the Project Members list is Type, which indicates whether the entry represents an Organization User (
), Organization Group (
), System User (
), or System Group (
). If an Organization User or System User belongs to a Group or System Group that is a Project member but is not a member as an individual User, their Project permissions are based on their Group's role.
Project Member Options
If you have Project Member Add/Edit permissions, you can manage the Project Member list as follows:.
- Add/Remove Members — Launches the Add/Remove Members dialog, which lets you manage Project membership.
- Role Use the drop-down under Role to change an Organization User's or Group's role within the project.
- Save – Saves your changes to the Project membershup.
- Discard Changes – Discards your changes to Project membership or role assignment.
