View Zero Day Details

Email Sent Date or Email Received Date Histogram > Zero Day Details button
Date Report > Zero Day Details button

The Zero Day Details popup enables you to view a list of zero-day dates (for example, dates for which there was either no email sent or no email received, depending on which histogram you are using and the date range loaded into the histogram).

You can use the initial date range shown when you launch the popup, or you can specify your own. You also have the option to show or hide weekend days.

The Email Sent Date and Email Received Date histograms support Zero Day Details, as does the Date Report, which accommodates the date information for different types of source files (such as dates from documents on disk or email dates).

If you have the appropriate permissions, you can also click the (Download icon) in the paging area to download all Zero Day details to a CSV. The CSV always contains all of the available data instead of limiting the data based on a selected start date and end date, or the option to hide weekend days.

The Zero Day Details are paged, so you can use the paging controls to move 100 entries at a time through the list. The total number of entries is displayed at the bottom right of the popup.

Zero Day Information

The Zero Day table provides the following information:

  • Date – Displays an entry for each zero-day date in the format YYYY-MM-DD. The list is sorted by default in Date ascending order.
  • Day of Week – Displays the day of the week (for example, Monday) for each zero-day date.

Zero Day Detail Options

When working with the Zero Day Details, you can either use the start and end dates in effect when you opened the Zero Day Details popup, or you can specify your own start and end dates.

Date Range:

  • Start YYYY-MM-DD – Enables you to type a start date in the box or click the Calendar icon to use a calendar to specify zero-day email sent or email received date criteria.
  • End YYYY-MM-DD – Enables you to type an end date in the box or click the Calendar icon to use a calendar to specify zero-day email sent or email received date criteria.
    1. To use the Calendar, click the icon to the right of the Start or End box.
  1. Click the zero-day date you want, either the current date or the date you typed (highlighted for you), or select another day in the current month.
  2. Click the left or right arrows in the top corners on either side of the month name to move back and forward a month.
  3. Click the month and year in the center, and then use the arrows to go back and forward a year. You can also select another month in the year shown.
  4. Once you make a complete date selection, the Calendar closes and you see the date formatted properly in the box.
  • Apply – Click this button to have the report load the zero-day data for the time period specified. Pressing a return after entering a zero-day date in the Start or End box also loads the information.
  • Previous Period – Moves the zero-day information to the previous period. The period of time is dictated by your Start and End zero-day dates.
  • Next Period – Moves the zero-day information to the next period. The period of time is dictated by your Start and End zero-day dates.
  • Hide Weekends – For the current period in effect, hides the weekend days so they are not included in the display of the details.

In the paging area, which allows you to select pages of the Details, you can also select the following:

  • – Refreshes the information in the popup.
  • (requires Document Reports permissions) – Enables you to download all Zero Day data to a CSV file. The CSV always contains all available Zero Day details. The CSV content does not change based on the selected start date or end date, or based on the Hide Weekend Days setting (that is, all days are included, including weekend days).

Below the paging area, you can then select the following:

  • Close – Closes the popup and returns you to the main Report window.
