Requires System-level Job Management - Add/Edit permissions for one or more selected Jobs
System Users in a role with the appropriate System-level permissions can request email notification of a Job that is running (a Job selected from the Job Management Queue).
As long as an email server has been configured, you can select a task that is in one of the following in-progress states and request an email notification upon success or failure of that task:
- RUNNING
- BLOCKED
- QUEUED
- PAUSED
- PAUSED ON FAILURE
The Job Notification dialog lets you specify one or more email addresses that will receive an alert upon successful task completion or upon task failure. By default, notifications are sent for successfully completed and failed tasks to your configured email address. You can also specify additional email addresses.
Note:
- Send email notifications to: — After the entry for your email address, you can specify one or more entries with email addresses. By default, your configured email address appears, the one specified in your User account for the Organization. (You must have an email specified in the User account for the notification to work.) Specify each address on a separate line, which you can clear or delete. To clear a line with an email address, click the
that appears at the far right of the line. To delete a given line with an email address, click the
icon to the right of the line.
Include these notification(s):

-
Failure— For the specified email addresses, sends an email notification if the task fails. This type of notification is sent by default for a task failure when you configure email addresses. Clearing the checkbox disables the notification.
