Requires System-level Job Management - Add/Edit permissions for one or more selected Jobs

System Users in a System-level role with the appropriate permissions can change the Service used for a selected Project from the Projects screen, either the Digital Reef Default Service, or a Service that has been configured on the system. When you select this option from the Projects screen, you should see a title with the name of the selected Project, followed by a - (hyphen) and the Project description, if one has been configured. You may want to change to a different Service temporarily to accommodate a certain type of Job. For example, you may want to use a configured fast-lane Service for a high-priority Job.

If you have the appropriate System-level Job Management - Add/Edit permissions, you can also change the Service in effect for one or more selected Projects from the Job Management screen, available from the Status drop-down menu on the top toolbar of the Home Screen or Project workspace. In this case, when the dialog opens, you should see the title Change Service for Selected Projects.

Change Service Information and Selection

Once you review the Service information, select from a list of available Services. The Service initially displayed with a blue background when the popup is launched is the selected Service. If you launched the dialog from the Job Management screen to change the Service for multiple Projects associated with Jobs, then you will see the Service selected with the blue background only if the Service is the same for all selected Services.

  • Service Name — The Digital Reef Default Service or the name of a configured Service. The Default Service (for the Digital Reef Entire Realm) is selected by default initially. This column is the default sort column.
  • Service Description – A helpful description of the Service.
  • Realm Nodes –The number of Realm Nodes (AEs) associated with a Service.
  • Projects – The number of Projects associated with a Service.

An Express node is an Analytic Node that supports High and Medium priority jobs only. An OCR node is an Analytic Node that performs OCR processing tasks only.
  • Projects – This tab identifies the Projects and Organizations associated with a Service:
    • Project Name –The name of a Project associated with the Service.
    • Organization – The name of the Organization associated with a Project and the Service.
  • Jobs – This tab identifies the Jobs (live Jobs and Jobs in a pausing or paused state) that are associated with the Service, as well as the User who started each Job, and the associated Project:
    • Operation Status/Description –The Status and Task description of a Job associated with a Service.
    • User – The User who initiated a given Job.
    • Project Name – The name of the Project associated with a Job.
