Requires Template Profiles - Add/Edit permissions
System Users in a System-level role with the appropriate permissions can select the Organizations that should receive the selected System Templates in a given Template Profile. You can only view and select Organizations to which you have access (based on System User/System Group membership).
Save to Organizations Options
The following options are available for a save of templates in a Template Profile to one or more Organizations to which you have access:
-
Organization Name (top checkbox for select all) – Enables you to select all listed Organizations as the targets of the Save to Organizations operation.
- Filter row text box — You can use the Filter row text box under the Organization Name column. (The
icon indicates that filtering is available.) Using the Filter box enables you to pinpoint the Organizations you want to work with based on a Filter term item containing one or more characters you enter. You can explicitly apply a filter by typing one or more characters in the text box and clicking Enter (the return key). If you type one or more characters in the text box, the software will automatically apply the filter for you, and the text box changes to a yellow background color. For any applied filter, you can then clear the filter by removing the text in the box and clicking Enter, by removing the text from the box, or by clicking the
that appears at the far right of the Filter box. Clearing a filter restores the list to its original state.
-
<Organization> – Enables you to use the per-Organization checkboxes to select which Organizations will be the targets of the Save to Organizations operation. The list reflects the Organizations to which you have access (based on System User/System Group membership).
- On Name Conflict – Determines how to handles any template name conflicts that occur:
- Create a Copy (default) – Creates a copy in response to a template naming conflict. The copy will have the format
Copy of <original template name>
. - Overwrite Existing – Overwrites the existing template with the template being pushed to an Organization in response to a naming conflict.
- Create a Copy (default) – Creates a copy in response to a template naming conflict. The copy will have the format
Once the operation begins, the template settings are applied to each Organization, and you will see the operation in progress. You will not be able to take further action until the operation is complete.
