Export to EDRM or CSV Format

The export options and process are similar for EDRM and CSV, as follows:

• EDRM XML — Supports the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM The Electronic Discovery Reference Model defines a standard for eDiscovery products and services so that data can be easily exchanged between organizations and eDiscovery products. The supported version is currently 1.1.) XML file manifest (load file) with the following:
  • All files (the default), or all files that meet a qualifying Tag query, with the selected EDRM XML manifest. (Tagging can be applied in bulk, to individual documents, emails, or results, or to an entire email thread or Cluster, if applicable.) Even if more than one Tag operation tags the exact same file, that file is only exported once.
  • By default, any email or attachments in the Export Stream that are part of the same Message Attachment Group as a tagged file. You can control the export of files associated with a MAG using the Export family/thread options.

• All standard EDRM metadata and all Digital Reef metadata accounted for in the EDRM XML file, which can discern email thread content.

• CSV — Supports a comma separated value (CSV) file manifest with the following:
  • By default, all files (the default), or all files in the tagged with one or more Tags meeting the qualifying Tag query, with the selected CSV manifest.
  • All Digital Reef metadata.
