Set Other Legal Discovery Options for Chain of Custody

When you select a data set to import into the Project, you can specify a Batch value and other Legal Discovery information in one or more eDiscovery fields (as additional Legal Discovery options). Fill out the various fields, then click OK to apply them as part of document processing. These fields provide information that supports Chain of Custody.

Note: After the Data Set is processed to a selected level, you can view information applied to the Batch name field and to the other Legal Discovery fields by clicking Scan History from the Data Set Reports tab. For any document in the Data Set, you can use the Document Viewer to view the batch metadata field in the eDiscovery Properties.
