View Scan History for a Data Set

Clicking Scan History from a Data Set Reports tab provides scan operation information for the Data Set import. A scan operation is dated and identifies the number of files added for the imported Data Set, as well as the size of the data. It also captures information for the Other Legal Discovery Options specified as part of New Data Set.

When you are done viewing this information, click Close.

The Scan History contains the following information:

Field	Description
Date	The time stamp (in the format yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss) representing the date of each scan operation (for example, 2009-12-24 11:29:10). This is the time stamp associated with the local system (Services Node).
User	The user who performed the scan operation.
Files Added	For each scan operation, the number of files that were successfully added to the Index during the scan. All files are fully extracted; that is, all archives are opened and all files within the archives are extracted.
Size of Files	Per operation, the size of the files added as part of the scan.
Batch	The Batch name/value set at import (or, if one was not set, the Data Set name). You can verify the
Electronic ID	Electronic discovery identification and inventory number (for example, barcode labeling).
Date of Shipment	The ship date (selected from a calendar).
Name of Shipper	Name of the shipper responsible.
Tracking Number	Tracking number assigned to the shipper.
Date Received	Date that material was received.
Recipient Name	Name of recipient (used when evidence is shipped).
