The System Audit Log provides a record of all System User activity (including Project-related events, which are also shown in the Project Audit Log). By default, System Users in the IT Admin and System Admin roles can view this information by selecting Status > System Audit Log on the Home page or Project Dashboard. The System Audit Log page opens in a new browser tab. When you are done viewing it, you can either close the tab or use it to view other Status menu items, such as the Job Management Queue or Monitoring.

The System Audit Log records activity related to management (including creation, enablement, modification, and deletion) of the following elements:

  • Licenses

  • Realm Nodes

  • Organizations

  • Projects

  • Services

  • Role Permissions

  • Users

  • Groups

  • Templates

  • Storage

The Log is initially sorted by the Date column, with the most recent activity first, and can also be sorted by Username. The following table describes the fields in the Log.

Field Description
Username User who performed the operation.
Date Date and time of the operation.
Status Result of the operation, either Success or Failure.
Operation Type of operation performed, such as ORGANIZATION_CREATE or LICENSE_UPDATE.
Description Description of the operation, which may have further details.
Object Name Object acted on by the operation, such as the name of the Organization created by an ORGANIZATION_CREATE operation.
