Configure the Reef Review Connector

System Setting > Configuration > Reef Review

System Users in a role with the required permissions (by default, IT Administrator, System Administrator, and System Manager) can use this page to connect Digital Reef to a Reef Review instance. As described in Reef Review Integration, when the Reef Review Connector has been configured, any User creating a Project can choose to create a parallel project in Reef Review, along with other elements that allow for direct export of data to Reef Review.

After you have entered or updated the Reef Review connector information, described below, you must validate it by clicking the Validate button, which ensures that the Reef Review instance exists at the specified location. The Save button does not become available until you have validated the configuration, at which point you can use it to save your changes. You can also discard changes and return to the last saved configuration at any time using the Discard Changes button.

The Reef Review connector settings, all required, are as follows:

  • Host URL — The URL used to connect to the Reef Review instance, for example: https://reefreview2.digitalreef.com/projects.

  • Share Host / IP Address — The hostname or IP address of the system hosting the storage used by Reef Review for data exported by Digital Reef.

  • Path — The storage path on the host identified in the previous setting.
