Reef Review Integration
Digital Reef can be integrated with an instance of TransPerfect's Reef Review document hosting, review, and analysis tool so that data uploaded to Digital Reef can be directly exported to Reef Review in a few simple steps. The workflow is as follows:
-
A System User in the IT Administrator or System Administrator role obtains the needed connection information for Reef Review and configures the Reef Review Connector.
-
With the Connector successfully configured, any User creating a Project can select the Digital Reef and Reef Review option on the New Project page. This creates a parallel project in Reef Review to which the Digital Reef Project is always linked, as well as users representing the Users added to the Project's Membership list. A dedicated Export Data Area for the Project, associated with the Reef Review Connector, is also created in Reef Review.
-
The User creates a new Data Set and investigates, culls, and tags data as needed.
-
The User creates a new Export Stream (or uses one previously created), selects data, and initiates an Export, choosing an existing folder within the dedicated Export Data Area (which is automatically selected) or creating a new one on the fly.
-
When the data export is complete, data ingestion by Reef Review begins. While the Project promotion process is ongoing, the User can track its progress using the Reef Review Promotion Tracker.
-
Once import by Reef Review is complete, the user can access the Project and its data in Reef Review by selecting the Reef Review Promotion Tracker option on the Project Dashboard drop-down menu.
This workflow is shown in the following.
Digital Reef can also be integrated with TransPerfect's Reef Express and both Reef Review and Relativity, allowing transparent project promotion to either review platform. As in the Digital Reef/Reef Review integration described above, creation of a project in Reef Express automatically creates parallel projects in both Digital Reef and the selected review platform. Data can then be uploaded directly to the review platform or instead to Digital Reef for investigation, culling, and tagging before being exported for review in a simple, two-click procedure, as shown in the following.
