Configure Review Systems

System Setting > Configuration > Review System

To enable review platform integration, System Users in a role with the required permissions (by default, IT Administrator, System Administrator, and System Manager) can use this page to connect Reef ECA to a review system—that is, a system running Reef Review or Relativity Server. As described in Review Integration Overview, when a review system has been configured, any User creating a Project can choose to associate it with one or more projects on the review system, along with other elements that allow for direct export of data to the review platform involved.

After you have entered or updated the review system information, described below, you must validate it by clicking the Validate button, which ensures that the review system is running at the specified location. The Save button does not become available until you have validated any new configuration, at which point you can use it to save your changes. You can also discard changes and return to the last saved configuration at any time using the Discard Changes button.

Note: When connecting to a remote Reef Review system that cannot receive direct data transfers from Reef ECA, an alternative promotion mechanism can be arranged. This difference is transparent to the User creating a Reef Review-integrated Project or promoting Project Data to Reef Review, except that the size of promotions using this mechanism is constrained due to Reef Review ZIP file limitations. For more information, contact Reef ECA support.

The review system settings are as follows:

  • Host URL (all review platforms) — The URL used to connect to the review system, for example https://reefreview2.digitalreef.com/projects.

  • Share Host / IP Address (Reef Review only) — The hostname or IP address of the system hosting the Reef Review storage to which Reef ECA will export data.

  • Path (Reef Review only) — The storage path on the host identified in the previous setting.
